Again thank you, Mayor Rocky Anderson for your belief in this Navajo artist for the opportunity to create a work of art that showcases your Mayoral philosophy, "Strength through Diversity".

This Olympic pin represents the Navajo Wedding basket which is a sacred ceremonial icon that is used in healing, weddings, the beauty way ceremonies and many others. I wanted the world to take "home" a piece of the Navajo culture.

I have always dreamed to have my artwork throughout the world, I believe Mayor Anderson has made this dream become a reality for me.
